I initially met Dr. Maehara after suffering from various ailments such as being lethargic, lack of focus, lack of energy and always being tired. Dr. Maehara assessed my symptoms and put me on a treatment plan. I can honestly say that Dr. Maehara changed my life! I am back to being active again, being able to focus, I sleep better now and I’m able to excercise and work out with no problems and my recoveries are quick! I used to spend hundreds in vitamins and supplements a month but now I receive treatment from Dr. Maehara every 4 months and I feel 100 times better! I’ve been seeing Dr. Maehara for approximately 5 years now and I can honestly say that he is the best out there. He definitely knows what he is doing and takes the time to explain each process. Dr. Maehara is the best. I have been going to him for the past 6 years for "age management" and am extremely happy. [The Most Honest Doctor Ever in the USA ] I am so glad to meet this doctor! I have been to almost 10 consultations already, Dr Maehara, is the only one told me I am not qualified for surgery (any surgery) for my eyes. He explained to me with data and graph! I couldn’t believe getting LASIK during COVID-19 would be so easy. Really recommend investing in yourself. I got my 2020 vision now!

I am a Vietnam Vet with Tri-West VA Medical Coverage and was referred to Dr. Jeffery Maehara by another Eye Surgeon here on Oahu due to the “high risk’ of my Cataract surgery! I am very grateful for Dr. Jeffery and his office staff as they are very familiar with working through all of the VA “red tape”and never once did they make me feel any less than a 1st Class Patient! Dr. Jeffery has now completed both eye surgeries for me and I am so pleased to have “perfect vision” in both of my eyes! He was not only interested in the removal of my Cataracts but he was very careful to make sure that the Lens he would be Implanting in each eye would be just right for my lifestyle needs!! I’m truly amazed at the clarity of both my close-up and distant vision as they work together in perfect harmony for a perfect and natural vision! Both Surgeries were done at Surgicare of Hawaii which was another “over the top” experience! During each Surgery one or two of my Nurses would mention, while prepping me for Surgery, that Dr. Maehara either did their eye surgery or how impressed they were of his surgical technique and skills! I have been wearing glasses since I was 8years old and I've always thought about getting LASIK but was really nervous! My Grandpa got Cataract surgery from the Meaharas and was so happy with the results so he refereferred me. From the First appointment they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable they answered all questions I had about the procedure. Dr. Maehara is so friendly and helps you feel comfortable about everything. I took advantage of a online offer so I got a great discount! The Procedure was really fast and recovery is really easy! I finally got 2020 vision ! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is tired of their glasses or contacts!

Dr Jeff is the best and smartest doctor ever!!

I was suffering from vision distortion due a surgery that I had with another doctor. I went to 3 other surgeons for get help and thousands of dollars. I even saw a surgeon in Texas. None of them could help me. I thought I was going to have to live with the vision distortion forever. On my 1st visit to see Dr. Maehara he knew exactly what the problem was. I had to do another surgery, but ever since then my vision is no longer distorted and I can see! Now I send all my family and friends to him. There is no one else that I will ever trust with my vision again!
